Job Description

We’re looking for our next Black Box Intelligence™ Client Success Manager! Are you looking for an awesome high performing team where you can positively contribute and feel like you are part of a work family? If so, this may be the role for you!  

What You’ll Learn

You’ll learn a lot about our clients’ businesses, industry leading people practices, financial performance metrics and how to think strategically about business from some very smart and experienced people. We are a fast-growing company and your contributions as CSM will empower the growth of the company as well as help you achieve personal success. The ability to discover & develop your personal niche is available & encouraged.  

Training

You’ll be trained primarily by our two resident Client Success pros and work closely with them on a day-to-day basis. You will also learn about our clients’ business and proprietary software, as well as our high level of standards and the company mission. Additional training on our platforms, training and onboarding process will be part of this process too! Then you’ll have a book of clients to call your own.  

Your Co-Workers

Our team has as a committed work ethic and loves to have fun together; we chat, joke & tell stories, have Zoom Happy Hours and All Team Meetings. Relationships are strong. Your co-workers will probably ask you what your favorite music group, favorite food (In and Out or Whataburger?), pet names are on day one. 

Hours

This position is a salaried, full-time position. Client needs will dictate your schedule to a large extent, but for the most part, it’s a results-based environmentOur goal is to do whatever it takes to have the happiest clients possible

Technical Skills Required

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel  
  • Experience supporting SaaS solutions 
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and Salesforce is preferred 
  • Familiarity with Gainsight or Totango is a plus 
  • Restaurant industry knowledge/experience is preferred

  • Strong client management experience; specifically, experience as the primary point of contact for customers 
  • Experience executing initiatives with cross-functional teams 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to juggle several clients and multiple projects with ease 
  • Must be comfortable interacting with persons of diverse backgrounds. 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills  
  • Enjoy collaboration, with a preference for face-to-face communication  
  • Have an ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment  
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; articulate, confident communicator and even better listener 
  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals 
  • Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights 
  • Strong work ethic, with a desire to get into the weeds and get your hands dirty 
  • Comfortable managing in ambiguity and creating structure where it’s lacking 

 

Job requirements

  • Education: Four-year Bachelor’s degree  
  • Experience: 2+ years in a Customer Success, Partnerships, Account Management or similar role is required; restaurant and/or SaaS experience preferred 
  • Travel: Possibility, one day. But not anytime soon.
