Each year, Workforce Intelligence (formerly People Report) conducts the Corporate Compensation and Benefits Survey to address this problem. The survey examines a variety of metrics across all levels of the organization. The metrics range from base salary and annual bonuses to paid time off policies and health benefits.
For example, last year’s survey found that in 2015, total payroll costs represented an average 32 percent of company revenues in 2015. Take a look at some of the other top highlights from the 2016 survey:
