2017 is almost here, and it promises to be historically challenging for the foodservice industry. According to Greg Creed, CEO of YUM Brands, and past winner of the Workplace Legacy Award, the “guest experience can’t exceed the employee experience.” The Black Box Intelligence (formerly TDn2K) team couldn’t agree more and is excited to kick off the 2017 Global Best Practices Conference with two opening summits. Designed by and for HR and Marketing leaders, these sessions will focus on the challenges and opportunities confronting restaurant operators. Marketing Summit

HR Summit

Chaired by Lynne Bartusek, SVP of Human Resources at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, this session will provide expert speakers to address the post-election workplace and the crucial topics of talent acquisition and retention in this hyper-competitive labor market.

Workforce Intelligence (formerly People Report) data reports that both employee and manager turnover rates are at historic highs, and retention of talent is board-level topic and priority.
