It is true; Summer Brand Camp is closed for innovation. We will not be hosting an event in June of 2016. In the years since we started Summer Brand Camp we have seen it morph in to something incredibly unique and special. We’ve talked about reinventing capitalism, breaking down silos, workplace, marketplace, oneplace and so much more. We’ve focused on how our businesses are more digitally charged and connected than they’ve ever been and that doing things “the way they’ve always been done” was not a sustainable model for success.

Our goal at Summer Brand Camp was to get people from various departments in the same room, to learn how they can work together to discuss issues that affect their business, not just their department; and even more, how solving these issues changes business, changes their communities and helps them leave it “better than they found it”. The next innovation is upon us and it’s time to take Summer Brand Camp to the next level.

Many in the community have long thought of us as an HR company, or that Summer Brand Camp is an HR conference, or finance product, making camp a finance conference. But in the recent years as Summer Brand Camp has evolved, so has Black Box Intelligence (formerly TDn2K). We not only deliver workforce insights or financial or social insights. We are a business intelligence provider that delivers insights on how all of these benchmarks correlate and affect the bottom line of a business. Our consortium consists of over 200 brands reporting on over a million employees and $55 billion in annual sales revenue; and we’re growing every day.

It is in this spirit that it is time for Black Box Intelligence (formerly TDn2K) to innovate and further improve the products and services at the core of our business; Summer Brand Camp and Global Best Practices included. Sometimes the best way to do that is to take a step back, take a break and move forward with a clear mind and heart. Since we at Black Box Intelligence (formerly TDn2K) put our minds and hearts passionately into everything we do, while there may be a break from the Brand Camp event, our community will get to take advantage of some incredibly exciting product enhancements including:

  • Financial Intelligence (formerly Black Box Intelligence) “Brands Dashboard”. Ability for multi concept organizations to benchmark their individual brands side by side.
  • Fully exportable reports from the Financial Intelligence (formerly Black Box Intelligence) platform.
  • Workforce Intelligence (formerly People Report) benchmarks enhanced including: turnover by metro area and region, unit level reporting and sales per labor hour.
  • Move to web based Workforce Intelligence (formerly People Report) dashboards.
  • New Guest Intelligence (formerly Guest Intelligence (formerly White Box Social Intelligence)) automated reporting including Financial Intelligence (formerly Black Box Intelligence) sales and traffic integration.
  • Increased integration of consumer feedback data (survey, web portal, email etc..)
  • And much more!

Seth Goodin has said “No one accidentally goes to a conference. No one accidentally finds themselves at a convention. The people who are there are choosing to be there; they are choosing to pay attention… treat that attention like the privilege that it is”… We plan to do exactly that while fulfilling our promise to turn data into knowledge that allow our members to achieve best in class results.
