Black Box Intelligence Appoints Mark Dillon as Chief Executive Officer; the Company also welcomes Joe Henson as Chief Product and Technology Officer
April 4, 2024 – Black Box Intelligence™, the leading provider of operational insights, competitive intelligence, and guest experience solutions in the restaurant industry, today announced two key appointments to its veteran executive team. Mark Dillon will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer and board member following David Cantu’s decision to step down as CEO, while Cantu will remain on the board. Joe Henson joins as Chief Product and Technology Officer.
With over 25 years of experience leading and growing software and technology companies, Dillon most recently served as CEO of the Chicago-based AI-driven ratings and reviews software platform PowerReviews, successfully guiding the company through acquisition by strategic partner 1WorldSync, Inc.

Henson brings more than 25 years of experience in leading product and technology initiatives across startups and global organizations, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and achieving remarkable business results. Henson most recently served as CTO/CPO at PowerReviews alongside Dillon and previously held roles in product and technology at Label Insight, Catalina, and Triad.
